We know that the official start of spring 2019 is March 20th but spring break across the nation is beginning, for some folks, in February. So, for those that are planning their 30a spring break getaway now, we are here to offer a few suggestions on just what spring has in store and how to enjoy your visit to the Emerald Coast to the fullest!

The Beach – the beach might simply be the primary reason for your visit and we wouldn’t dare argue with that but how do you beach to the fullest? We might suggest renting a set of chairs and an umbrella, shade offers a great retreat from the high sun and allows your day on the beach in Seaside, Florida to be quite enjoyable for all ages.

Stand Up Paddle Boards – regarding beaching it to the fullest, what a fun way to play for any age! Stand Up paddle boards are available for rent in a variety of sizes and styles. If you’re catching waves maybe you opt for a shorter, lighter board. If you prefer to experience the gorgeous gulf coastline for a long and relaxing paddle, go big!

Bike Riding – Did you know that Scenic Highway 30A stretches for over 20 miles (24 to be exact) hugging the Gulf of Mexico coastline and offering visitors and locals an array of unique beach communities and rare coastal dune lakes along the way!? Trail Riding on 30A – the Timpoochee Trail, spanning 18.6 miles winds past dune lakes, state parks, and gorgeous gulf coast communities. Perfect for the entire family, what a great way to experience South Walton and North West Florida to the fullest! With mileposts along your trail you can easily familiarize yourself with Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton, WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove, WaterSound, and Rosemary Beach and choose the ideal shopping points for casual coastal dining and boutique shops!

Pool Play – some days you want to lay next to the pool with a good book and libation in hand. Make it happen! Whether your vacation rental offers a private pool or you have access to the exclusive Seaside community pools we recommend taking full advantage of the fresh water too!
