Blog - New Enhanced Health and Safety Precautions

Cottage Rental Agency has been working behind the scenes to modify our health and safety processes in every area of operation. We are committed to upholding the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation.

We will initiate check-in and cleaning procedures including:
-Protective plexiglass shields placed at our Welcome Center between our staff and guests.
-Front Desk agents will ask for identification through the glass to limit contact.
-Signs and markers will be placed to signify 6 feet intervals to denote proper social distancing.
-Our staff is highly trained in cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all common areas and private rental units, and proper hand washing and hygiene etiquette will be followed.
-Hospital grade disinfectants and sanitizers used throughout the cleaning process.
-We are increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly touched surfaces such as handrails, doorknobs, elevator buttons, remote controls, telephones, keyboards, etc.

In addition to our internal changes, guests should review government guidance to confirm eligibility to travel and stay here and/or leave their own state. Reservations will not be honored where prohibited.

Guests will be encouraged to take personal safety precautions– this can mean anything from wearing masks in public places like grocery stores, to bringing hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes from home to use while visiting.
