Blog - Fourth of July on 30A
Parades, fireworks, and music—oh my! The 30A community is celebrating Independence Day with a variety of activities perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
Line up on Holtz Ave next to The Red Bar starts at 8:00am with the parade starting at 8:30am. Decorate your cars, jeeps, boats, bikes, scooters, etc. No registration needed and everyone is welcome! As the parade ends, some head straight for the Gulf for a well needed dip in the cool surf. The parade starts at 8:30am but always a hot one on the 4th.
Swimsuits, pajamas and Bloody Mary’s optional. The Grayton Beach Neighborhood Association asks that you leave your water shooters at home and not engage in the usual battles from the back of the truck onto “innocent” bystanders along the parade route.
The small catamaran race is a tradition among local sailors, families, friends, and Grayton Beach lovers. Come out to watch the regatta take off from the shores of Grayton Beach, have a cold one from Grayton Beer Company and pick up a tee shirt commemorating the 2020 Regatta. Relax and watch the colorful catamarans on the Gulf as they race to Seagrove Beach and back to Grayton.
Enjoy cocktails and music at Havana Beach Rooftop Bar at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach. Complimentary admission, open to the public with food and drinks available for purchase. What a fun way to spend the evening with your favorite beverage, good eats and a beautiful view overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Rosemary Beach, Florida.
Head to The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for the Red, White, and Baytowne celebration! Enjoy LIVE music from Donovan Keith on the Events Plaza Stage, followed by a fireworks display that will light up the night sky at 9:15pm.
Enjoy live music with DJ DAD at FOOW30a in WaterColor Inn & Resort.
Head to The Hub for a family movie night under the stars!
